The Office of Chatelaine holds casual meetings every two weeks, dedicated to newcomers and newcomer's concerns. These meetings are garb (the SCAian word for period clothing) optional. While coming in full garb may feel fine with you, sometimes it can cause quite a stir....once Lord Ulrich came to a meeting in full armour...people remember that day very well! But wearing a tunic in jeans is perfectly fine and more what i'm leaning towards. These meetings are usually held in bookstore cafes, so be sure to wear something you will comfortable being in public in. At the meetings we talk about anything and everything, and it's purpose to help people new to the SCA feel involved in their local group and to help them learn more about the SCA life. One does not need to be a member to come to a meeting or any SCA function.

Our meetings are currently held at Border's Bookstore in Dickson City in the Cafe and at Barnes and Nobles in Wilkes-Barre as well. They begin at 7:00 pm regaurdless of location.
