Our Demonstrations

As part of our duty as a non-profit organization, one of our goals is to provide free or sometimes stippened-based educational demonstrations to other organizations (like boys scouts), schools, universities, and who ever else would be interested in running a Middle age-themed demonstration.

In the past we have held demonstrations at

• The Scranton Children's Library (2005),
• Deitrich Theater (Tunkhannok),
• Gift wrapping at Barnes and Nobles and Border's bookstores (05 &06),
• Manning the phonesWVIA membership drives,
• Classroom visits (continually),
• The Everhart Museum,
• The Old Mill Museum (New Milford)
• The Steamtown Mall,
• Abington Heights Middle School (June 07)
• Harry Potter Book 7 release party @ Borders in Scanton (07)
• Marywood University Senior Learner's program

Unofficially, every year we also take part in the City of Scranton's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.

We can run demonstrations for period style: martial combat (heavy fighting and fencing), arts (knitting, embroidery, leather working, wood working), sciences (mini-marshmallow shooting seige weapons), philosophy, history and living history, and cooking (primative and with modern appliances), Equestrian sports, or any combination there of, with advance notice.
